Paige Rowe recently launched her Winter 2016 collection and I was so excited to see what’s to come. Paige Rowe’s designs are quite unique and I love how they can suit so many different body shapes and sizes. The different cuts on the designs just make them look cool and edgy and can be dressed up or down.
The collection was shown in the tunnels of The Lion Hotel on Melbourne street. I had no idea these tunnels existed, but apparently they have been here for a long time, and you can hire the space out for parties and events…such a cool space!
Anyways back to the clothes, so for those of you who can’t remember my previous post on Paige Rowe, Paige designs two capsule collections per year; Summer and Winter. If you would like to try out some pieces, you make an appointment for a styling session, where you will get a one-on-one styling session, try out whatever you like and then place an order for the pieces you want and they will be delivered to you in May.
I really like the patterns and accessories in this seasons collection…so many great pieces!
Liza Emanuele recently launched her SS15/16 collection ‘Blue Sky’ in-store along side her new ‘roomie’ Rosie of Regina sole Queen, hosted by Filip Odzak, it was a great night of fashion and industry appreciation.
Liza celebrated the launch of her new collection by inviting a panel of social media queens, including Kelly Noble of Glam Adelaide, Sonia of Sonia Styling and Jenni of Styling Curvy to talk all about the power of social media today and how it connects people with other people and products.
The Blue Sky collection features a range of styles, cuts, colours and patterns that would suit all body shapes and sizes as well as will get you excited for the warmer months. I highly recommend checking out Liza’s new collection!
Of Dreamers and Dancers is Adelaide’s newest luxury jewellery label and to celebrate the launch invited guests for treated to a preview of their first collection; Night Reign. Featuring both fine intricate and bold statement pieces, most have the option of gold, silver and rose gold, so there’s something to suit all jewellery lovers. Not only are the pieces beautiful but they are also of the very best quality, with some pieces dripping in Swarovski crystals.
It’s so exciting that Of Dreamers and Dancers is Adelaide based, you may remember a recent Q&A I did with designer, Rebecca Minervini, she’s so lovely and it’s really cool to see local people doing great things…so inspiring!
Upon leaving the launch event we were gifted a candle, which was a beautiful collaboration piece between Of Dreamers and Dancers and Chloe Jane Candle Co. the scent of this candle is truly like no other, I highly recommend that you get your hands on one of these candles!
The ‘Night Reign’ collection is now online…happy shopping!
Paige Rowe is a new fashion label offering fashion lovers a whole new shopping experience.
Rather that going in-store and purchasing mass produced pieces, Paige Rowe offers guests a one-on-one style session from which you can order the pieces you love and have them delivered to you.
The current capsule collection comprises of interesting patterns and unique cuts that can be styled to suit all body shapes and sizes. Each year Paige will be launching two capsule collections, in August/September and February/March. With such a unique concept it brings some excitement to the usual shopping trip, and adds an exclusive touch. It is also a great opportunity to be styled and learn more about what suits your body and make you feel beautiful.
Revoque recently held a media brunch to preview their Autumn Winter [Grey Luxe] Collection hosted at The Republic in Norwood. We were treated to a champagne brunch while designer, Danica Ryan took us through her inspiration behind the new collection. What I love about Revoque is that the pieces are very modest yet edgy, so each piece works for people like me who can’t get away with wearing short, revealing and tight (fitted) clothes but can still look ‘cool’! I’m also loving the colour palette and textures of this collection. The grey/blue colour is so unique and mixed with the beige net like fabric…..Loving it!
Also on display at the brunch were some amazing hats (as you will see below) by Milliner; Sylvy Earl. Her creations are truly beautiful, and she is happy to work with you to make sure the head piece is fitted to you, which is such a luxury.
Overall it was a beautiful brunch, featuring amazing clothes, hats and food…..also I just want to say how cool the table decor was, it was so A/W inspired which matched the event perfectly, and we each had a block of wood that was hand cut, which held our name cards, such a personal touch….and a great idea for a dinner party!
Hello everyone, Happy New Year! Sorry I have been MIA since mid December, my cat went missing so I was a little preoccupied. I am back now, and I wanted to share with you all my experience of Tafe SA’s Fashion Graduates Parade. It was a picturesque event held on Light Sqaure, which is located in the middle of Adelaide’s city. With a massive runway and packed rows, everyone was excited to see what the graduates had created.
The show featured collections by 22 design graduates, each collection was inspired by different things including the 1930’s, Greek Gods, architecture, and more. My favourite collections from the show were by Kelsey Sandercock, Zafiro Girado, Elise Musolino, Jessica Nicholls, Chloe Mansueto, and Natalie Ivanov.
Natalie Ivanov received two prizes on the evening, showing her potential as a successful designer. I also love that she is all about animal rights, she states “as a designer, I believe that animal cruelty is an extremely important issue, and strongly advocate educating people on where their products come from and how they are made.” It is refreshing to see that people who will be in the fashion industry are thinking in this way.
Here are some of my favourite looks from the show.
This intricately braided skirt is a piece out of Natalie Ivanov’s collection, how amazing is it?!
I was so pleased to see the high level of talent that Adelaide has. Creativity is a skill and a talent and it is great that we have institutions that appreciate this talent and are able to help nurture those that wish to perfect their creative skills.

I have always loved Adelaide for how it is filled with so many creative people who aren’t afraid to step outside of the box and create things they truly believe in. Simmone Standing is one of these people, after winning the title of best emerging designer at the SA Designer Showcase during the 2014 Adelaide Fashion Festival, she has launched herself and her label in a big way.
Simmone Standing the Label launched their collection recently at The Richmond Hotel, beautifully light with fairy lights, it was the perfect setting for the all white collection to make its debut. Each piece was different to anything that is allready out there, from the textures of the fabrics to the cuts of the tops, trousers and skirts. With cut-outs in the trousers and layered fabric that has been pinch pleated, each piece was so interesting and different. These pieces would be great paired with a pop of colour or worn as is to keep that sleek all white look. Below are some of the looks from the show.
