Solid Gold Diamonds have opened their first Adelaide store, and they celebrated the opening with a glamorous gathering in store, located within Adelaide Central Plaza.
Actress, Samara Weaving was here in Adelaide especially for the official opening party and helped the owners cut the ribbon and welcome guests inside. It is their second store in Australia, the other being in Perth, so they went all out to make Adelaide feel special. It was a beautiful event, from fresh flowers everywhere, models holding giant balloons, and the beautiful Samara Weaving dripping in diamonds. I attended the event along with my sister (seen below), we had a lovely evening trying on diamonds that we dream of owning one day (really, I will work hard enough to buy them one day!).
You’ll see below a photo of my hand adorned with a few diamond rings, all together they are worth $115,000….if only I could get myself a money tree! But if you’re actually in need of some jewelry or you’re dropping hints to a special someone, then you must check out Solid Gold Diamonds, their range is spectacular. I tried on a ring, which had a solitaire diamond, tiny diamonds on the band, and small heart shaped pink diamonds on the sides, it was amazing, and will definitely be a favourite choice for those looking to propose!

I was recently invited to Fresh Hair & Body on The Parade for a fabulous night of pampering. They were celebrating the launch of their fourth Adelaide salon, based in St Clair.
Fresh Hair & Body is owned by Leah Brunoli, who I had the pleasure of meeting on the evening, she is a true inspiration, starting her own business at the very young age of 19 years old, she has created a successful brand, where not only she gets to do what she loves, but she also provides other young women finding their way in the hair and beauty industry, the opportunity to live out their passion.
The four salons are located in Mawson Lakes, Norwood, North Adelaide and now St Clair. With so many services on offer, including cuts, colours, brow-dries, waxing, makeup and nails, all you need to do is book yourself in and let the team do the rest. On the night of pampering that’s exactly what I did, we were treated to hair, makeup and nails. You’ll see below the amazing job they did. I loved how one of the girls did my hair, not only did it turn out beautifully, but she did it so quickly and she didn’t spray it with so much hair spray, so I didn’t leave with stiff, crunchy hair!
The girls were so lovely, I definitely recommend going in for your next pamper session, also if you’re looking for wedding or special occasion hair and makeup, why not try them!

I was sent some vibrant Eles Nail Polish from their Brighton Collection, to try out. So I thought I would play around with them and do some nail art. Here is what I did:
1. Paint all the nails in the lime sorbet colour. I used 2 coats to get full coverage.
2. Take the deckchair blue colour and with the brush pointing down towards your finger, paint 3 lines, gradually make each line longer than the other. I found that because the brush is nice and wide, 3 lines fit my nails perfectly, except the thumb need 4 lines. This technique gives you a pretty scalloped edge.
3. I then took a nail art polish I had, which has a thin brush perfect for thin lines, with the brush pointing down towards the finger draw lines diagonally from the inner point of each scallop.
4. I finished the nails over with a top coat for extra shine.
And this is the final look! Let me know what you think, and if you try it, I would love to see pics!
I’m really loving these Eles nail polish, especially because of their ‘5 free’ formula, which means they don’t have DBP, Toluene, Formualdehyde or Camphor!
